Mike Seaver and his family were sent to the Summerville, SC area in 2011 to help plant Sovereign Grace Church of the Lowcountry. As Lead Pastor, he is responsible for the majority of preaching/teaching, envisioning, and leadership development. He has an undergraduate degree from Carson-Newman College and his Masters of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was also trained at the Sovereign Grace Pastors College. Mike is married to his best friend, Kristin since 2000 and they have five beautiful daughters. He is a die-hard University of Tennessee fan, but also roots for Clemson University—since Kristin is a Tiger grad. He also enjoys going to the beach or pool with his family, reading biographies and doing “daddy-daughter dates”…which is good, since he has a lot of daughters!
Shann Laribo is founder and pastor of The Net International Ministries, Inc.in Summerville, South Carolina. Founded in October, 2001, The Net, a non-denominational church, has grown spiritually as a body and has expanded its local, national, and international reach through community outreach, church partnerships, and international missions support. At the heart of his pastoral work, Pastor Shann leads his congregates to unify the Body of Christ for the end-time harvest. Pastor Shann attributes his early preparation for his present service in ministry to the regular, rigorous and disciplined practices he observed in his grandfather Bishop James L. Ravenell, his grandmother, Deaconess Elizabeth McCants Ravenell, and his mother, Deaconess Margaret Williams along with his aunts whom he believes God charged with covering, mentoring, and nurturing the emergent shepherd in him. Pastor Shann has a Bachelors degree in Theology and is completing a masters in Theology, tools he applies toward expanding his reach and impact for the Kingdom of God. Pastor Shann has been married for 23 years to Celeste Babb Laribo who serves as The Net’s Associate Pastor. Shann and Celeste are the parents of two lovely daughters, servants at heart, and variously gifted, Shannon and Sydney Laribo. Shann and Celeste make their home in Summerville, SC.
Craig and his wife Rebecca have 4 adult children. Craig holds a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministries from Baptist University of America, a Master of Arts in Christian Leadership and a Master of Divinity in Professional Studies from Liberty University. Craig has planted churches in Georgia and South Carolina and presently is leading his third church plant in Charleston (centerpointcharleston.com). The mobilization hub is engaged in training, resourcing and coaching church planters and re-visioning pastors (thehubcharleston.com).
Marcus Bryant is a graduate and employee of Charleston Southern University. His current role at CSU is to aid in the facilitation of Christian leadership initiatives for the university. Previously, Mr. Bryant served as a manager and centralized trainer for a Fortune 500 company. His heart and passion for diversity and inclusion arose after being in corporate America and realizing the disadvantages he and other minority groups faced. Mr. Bryant’s experience in educating on diversity and inclusion matters span over 5 years and ranging from panels, conferences, committees, and think tanks. It’s his desire that all people would work and worship together; not because they have to, but because they truly want to reflect God’s Kingdom! Marcus is married to his beautiful wife, Brittany, and together they two beautiful girls, Zion and Zielle.
Philip Pinckney is a native of Charleston and a graduate of the Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina. Philip brings a diverse background of experiences as he has served in several capacities over 10+ years of ministry to include: teaching using puppets for children’s ministry, teen ministry leader, college ministry leader, and also a preaching pastor. His ministry experience includes serving in urban and suburban communities. His professional background is equally diverse with positions such as: investment advisor representative, VP of Sales, and business owner. Now, along with being the Director for 1Charleston, Philip is an ordained minister with plans to plant a church in the Charleston area. He also currently serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. Philip is very happily married to his awesome wife Jenetta and they have a wonderful newborn son, Ezra James Pinckney.
